Introduction
We have an experienced, dedicated and specialist Board of Trustees who volunteer their time to govern the organisation and direct our strategy. If you are interested in becoming a trustee please get in touch
Phil Evans
Chair
Prior to retiring to the Devon coast Phil was a Senior IT and Programme Manager in the City of London for over twenty years. He has managed the successful delivery of large scale projects and contracts using both IT and non-IT solutions. He has developed strong HR skills including the development of systems managing teams of over 250 employees including objective setting, performance reviews and personal development plans. Although his work experience was mostly in the finance sector of the City he has also supported and worked with local community and voluntary groups in East London for many years. He has brought these strengths to his position as trustee and Chair of the board of trustees for Working Well.
In his leisure team Phil is a keen cook with a preference for local fresh produce and an absolute determination that nothing should be wasted. Phil likes to swim, in the sea whenever it’s safe, and also likes to walk.
Caroline Bunting
After more than 10 years’ working in Corporate Social Responsibility in both the corporate and charity sectors; latterly managing volunteering programmes and charity partnerships for Societe Generale UK, Caroline relocated in July 2023 from London to Naples, Italy, as a result of her husband’s job. With this enforced career ‘pause’, she has busied herself with learning to speak Italian, organising community events, keeping physically fit, embracing local cuisine, and doing lots of travelling – including spending an incredible solo month walking the Camino di Santiago.
She joined the WWT board as a trustee in February 2020, keen to learn about the operations of a small charity, while offering her relevant skills and knowledge. As a trained Mental Health First Aider, the objectives of the Trust also align to a personal interest in the mental health agenda.
Ollie Brothwood
Julia Ingall
With over 20 years focusing on all things People, Culture and Talent, across a number of sectors and businesses, I am passionate about the world of work and have a desire to ensure that work provides fulfilment, energy, connection and self-esteem.
The WWT is key to improving the lives of persons who experience mental health challenges and are neurodiverse into employment. I am delighted to be a Trustee focusing on this mission.
Martin Bould
Martin began work in the voluntary with community transport and dial-a-ride, moving to the Kings Fund and then the NHS, before a decade as a management consultant specialising in mental health. He was a senior joint commissioner in Tower Hamlets to 2018.Now semi-retired, he enjoys walking, reading poetry and history, voluntary work and spending time with family and grandchildren.
Philip Stitson
Phil is a programme manager and change governance specialist working in the City of London. He has worked at a large international bank for the last 18 years and, since 2007, Phil has been involved in volunteering with different groups in East London through the partnerships his employer has developed and for the last few years has been a member of that firm’s Community Impact governance board in the UK – experiences that equip him well as a trustee of Working Well Trust.
Phil is a Christian and plays an active role in his church but beyond this his wide range of interests make him a formidable pub-quizzer. Phil lives with his wife and daughters in their rather ramshackle cottage in Kent, trying to keep on top of DIY and the garden.
Neil Lukha

Through his experience Neil brings a commercial and practical approach to decision making to his role as Trustee as well as providing financial insight and governance.
