As we reach the end of the year Working Well Trust will be closed for the Winter Period. We’ll be shut on Monday 23rd December 2024 with our re-opening on Thursday 2nd January 2025. If you need support during this time however here are the details of organisations that can offer support during this time.

However if you are a client of any of our Mental Health Employment Service in Tower Hamlets (These include services such as Peer Support, Business Advise or In Work Support and are experiencing an emergency you can contact us on our emergency number which is 07925 430255

Enfield

The Caravan Drop-in Counselling Service does in-person walk-in therapy on Mondays and Tuesdays (10am – 7pm) and on Wednesdays (10am – 4pm) at St James’s Church, Piccadilly, London W1J 9LL.
They also have a telephone therapy line that’s open Monday to Sunday (10am – 7pm), and you can contact them on 0207 183 1802.

Mind in Barnet and Enfield have a range of services that might be helpful, (though there is often a waiting list):

SilverCloud is an NHS-prescribed self-help app for self-led CBT and mental health support. You can use the link below (it’s the Hertfordshire service link, but it will work for anyone with the code) with access code SIGNPOST:

Samaritans are a great service with one-off impartial listeners and phone lines that are open 24/7. You can contact them on 116 123 and they also have an online chat facility that’s open 6-10pm Sunday to Thursday, which you can access here when it’s up:

For practical support for our Newham residents you can call NHS 111 then select Option 2 for East London residents.

For Newham Residents MIND runs the Together Café a space for Newham residents aged 18+ facing mental health challenges. This is open from 5pm-9pm Monday-Thursday and 3pm-9pm Friday-Sunday and on Bank Holidays. To find out more visit their website here.

  • Call South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust’s Mental Health Support Line on 0800 028 8000 (5 pm – 9 am Monday to Friday, 24 hours Saturday and Sunday).
  • Samaritans. To talk about anything that is upsetting you, you can contact Samaritans 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can call 116 123 (free from any phone), email [email protected]
