In Work Support for when DH needed it
"I have had support the whole way and I am happy with the support I was given."
"This service has been instrumental in improving my career confidence"
JD a client of IPS Workwise Barking & Dagenham has successfully sustained employment for six months in a role she enjoys. This has allowed her to build confidence, improve her skills, and gain valuable experience to strengthen her CV and future interview responses. JD has shown commitment and consistency in her current role, which marks a significant step forward in her employment journey.
JD has also completed an in-work support plan, which takes into account her mental health, previous challenges, and any concerns she has about sustaining employment. This has helped her feel more secure in her current role and confident in planning her next steps.
We continue to work together to help JD find a role more aligned with her long-term career goals. She is particularly interested in working within a charity setting, supporting people and causes she cares deeply about.
As part of her ongoing development, we’ve held mock interview sessions to help JD prepare for future opportunities. During these, we discussed how she can draw on her current work experience to answer questions using transferable skills—such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
JD remains motivated and engaged, and is actively seeking opportunities that better match her values and aspirations. This marks a positive phase in her journey, demonstrating her growth, self-awareness, and determination to progress into meaningful work.
