As the end of the year approaches Working Well Trust will be closing to allow it’s staff the opportunity to refresh and prepare for 2026. We’ll be closed on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 until Friday 2nd January 2026.

If you are a client of any of our Services in Tower Hamlets (These include services such as Peer Support, Business Advise or In Work Support and are experiencing an emergency you can contact us on our emergency number which is 07925 430255

Enfield

North London NHS Foundation Trust runs a 24-hour Crisis Telephone Service (0800 151 0023) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year if you are experiencing a mental health crisis for residents of Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Camden, and Islington

If you are experiencing something that makes you feel unsafe, distressed, or worried about your mental health, you can contact your local crisis service in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington by calling NHS 111 and selecting the mental health option.

In emergency situations where there is an immediate risk to life, you should continue to contact 999 or go to A&E.

North Central London support after suicide service – amparo.org.uk offers support for people bereaved by suicide, who live, work or study in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. Open to all ages, working with specialised agencies if children or young people are involved. Offers one-to-one and peer group support, by a suicide bereavement worker and a volunteer with lived experience of bereavement by suicide.

Kooth is a free online counselling and wellbeing platform for children and young people aged 11 and 26. It offers support from qualified counsellors seven days per week until 10pm, moderated peer to peer support, self-help resources, forums and discussion groups.

NCL Waiting Room: Over 300 wellbeing options for young people, families and professionals in North Central London. Co-developed with professionals and local residents, it offers a library of trusted resources and a self-help toolkit.

If you are under Barnsley Street care call Barnsley street duty number on 07557 191 319 or drop into Barnsley Street.  The address is  53 – 55 Barnsley Street, E1 5RB. These services are open 8am – 8pm everyday of the week including weekends and banks holidays. Or call the crisis line by calling NHS Direct on 111 and choose option 2 (open 24/7) or go to A&E if an emergency.

For practical support for our Newham residents you can call NHS 111 then select Option 2 for for their Mental Health Crisis Line

For Newham Residents MIND runs the Together Café a space for Newham residents aged 18+ facing mental health challenges. This is open from 5pm-9pm Monday-Thursday and 3pm-9pm Friday-Sunday and on Bank Holidays. To find out more visit their website here.

Kingston

Contact your GP if you feel you require medication, or want to change your medication.  Ask for an urgent/emergency appointment if necessary.

Ring 999 for an ambulance or go to A&E (Kingston Hospital NHS Trust, Galsworthy Road, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, KT2 7QB). The hospital will assess your needs and support.

Call 111 (NHS out of hours non-emergency service) You can also call NHS 111 for practical support if you are worried about how you are feeling and are unsure of what to do. 

If you need urgent mental health support, call NHS 111 and press 2 for the mental health option.

You can also access urgent support by calling South West London and St George’s Mental Health Crisis Line on 0800 028 8000.

Urgent referrals via both NHS 111 press 2 for mental and the Crisis Line can be made by anyone, including GPs, partner agencies, and private providers. And both NHS 111 press 2 for mental health and our Crisis Line are available 24/7 and open to people who haven’t previously accessed mental health services. You can call for yourself or someone else.

Both services have a team of mental health specialists who can provide professional support and advice by phone and direct you to the right service for your needs
