IPS-Real stories, real support, real change

Working Well Trust are proud to announce the start of two new employment support programs as we bring the Connect to Work scheme to the London boroughs of Enfield as well as Kingston-upon-Thames & Sutton.
Connect to Work is a new government program designed to support people with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and those who are neurodiverse into employment. Drawing on our experience delivering the IPS model and supporting Enfield and Kingston residents we’re proud to partner with Enfield Council, Local London, Ingeus and the South London Partnership. Together, we’re building on the trust placed in us by our partners, referrers and most importantly local residents.
Our Chief Executive, Helen Forster, says: “For over 30 years Working Well Trust has dedicated itself to supporting people overcome the barriers to employment. I’m proud of everything our services have accomplished in both Enfield & Kingston and we’re excited to bring that experience to the Connect to Work program and to do even more in supporting residents across these boroughs and Sutton on their employment journey.”
For information on Connect to Work and the support offered you can head over to our Connect to Work page here. Or you can go directly to the service pages for our Enfield or Kingston-Upon-Thames and Sutton teams.
Our Kingston service specialises in supporting individuals who are neurodiverse and/or have learning disabilities to find volunteering, training and employment.
A tailored employment service for clients based in Enfield who want to gain paid employment or support to retain a job.
Our Neurodivergent support worker uses their lived experiences of ADHD & Autism to talk through emotional challenges with clients and help develop coping strategies, though shared understanding, empathy and encouragement.
